NO CHARGE

Why is it that a message or a gift from God comes attached with a price tag? Why do leaders get paid speak or believers have to pay to hear what "Thus saith the Lord God."How come messages or gifts from God can only be heard by and experienced by those who can afford them? How is it that a free massage, teaching, and spiritual gifts from God that liberates the body, soul, and spirit become such corporeally expensive commodities? Why must God's people pay a door/entrance fee to hear a rhema word from him? I'm sure that's not what Jesus meant when he said, "I am the Door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture." The next verse specifies those people who have entered not through the Door but who entered in another way and their purpose for entering, which is to employ colonialistic and capitalistic tactics and behavior for the purpose of subjugation and greed.

The Church is sent into the world (Mark 16:15) to preach Christ, to preach a free message, free of cost and in actions, not to force people through oppressive means to accept Him, not to colonize any society in His name, and certainly not to steal, kill, and destroy in His name. If they don’t receive the message, believers are to keep it moving and go to the next country/community/town. The Church is not called to do nation-building, only to build for the kingdom of God (Matthew 10:14).

When you go, tell them this: ‘God’s kingdom is now very near. Heal the sick. Bring the dead back to life. Heal the people who have leprosy. And force demons out of people. I give you these powers freely, so help others freely. ~Matthew 10:7-20

These leaders are experts in using the switch and bate tactic, at giving people something for free, and then after they have gone for the free bate, they are reeled in, and then these leaders sell them everything else for a cost.

I'm afraid that this charlatan behavior, charlatan activity, charlatan ideology, and charlatan leaders have been so ingrained in the churches in this society that it has closed the door that leads to Christ and opened the door to deception, distortion, and greed. Paul's corporeal skills and business as a tentmaker became part of his spiritual ministry by using those skills to fund his spiritual calling and mission. His spiritual calling, gifts, and mission were never used to fund a corporeal lifestyle of greed and extravagance.

I coveted no one's silver or gold or apparel. You yourselves know that these hands ministered to my necessities, and to those who were with me. In all things I have shown you that by so toiling one must help the weak, remembering the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.'~Acts 20:33–35

It is so hard to tear down older buildings because they were built to last. But God looks for in these times that we live in leaders like Jude who will bring the spiritual jackhammer to break up the foundation of this perverseness, who will strategically place spiritual demolition explosives to demolish the structure of the way of Balaam. Reconstruction requires such spiritual hardware and spiritual ingenuity to bring this variant structure down.

I leave you with two powerful words from a song by the late great Shirley Caesar: "No charge."
