AMBASSADORS AND CITIZENS OF HEAVEN

We have these very influential, hypocritical, fame-seeking faith leaders who play it safe by persecuting the common unbelievers and believers instead of persuading them (Jeremiah 31:3, John 3:16), and yet, they put patriotism over faith, which is the highest form of idolatry and hypocrisy. And when I say patriotism, I'm not referring to only one particular country but to the unquestionable, silent, gullible, and denialist loyalty to any country. When we use the ideology and the idolization of countryism, capitalism, colonialism, churchism, and celebrityism as our foundational narrative instead of Christ, we fall into apostasy instead of flowing into the abundant life (John 10:10). We are ambassadors and citizens of heaven, not of this world_the line is being drawn in the sand that we are standing on, thus reconstruction of the foundation is warranted but not before the demolishing the less stable foundation we have been building on (1 Corinthians 3:8-11, 2 Corinthians 10:4-5).

Now unto him that is able to keep us from falling, and to present us faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, to the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.
