THE UNPARDONABLE SIN

It is a disgrace, and those of true faith are embarrassed by those who call themselves Christians who preach and teach the fruit of the Spirit and then support, claim, and even ordain a person, system, or organization as a Christian whose unapologetic evil and corrupt actions and lifestyle display no fruit of the Spirit. Those people and those who support them are the kind of corrupt tree and fruit Jesus spoke about in Matthew 7:17-20. Their judgment will be the same, whether in this life or in the afterlife _ where repentance will no longer be an option. To all the pastors in this nation, it was not the corrupt fruit whose final judgment was to be brought down and incinerated; it was the corrupt tree. God never condemned the woman caught in adultery; he condemned and shamed the corrupt religious leaders who brought her to him, the ones who used the Scripture to support their condemnation of her. They didn't bring her to Jesus for help but for harm, but Jesus burned these hypocritical leaders up in their shame. Believers, in particular, leaders are admonished to take self-examination of their faith to ensure they are truly in Christ, rather than focusing on judging others. This self-examination is not for one to obsess and gloat over salvation, but to ensure one is not living in self-deception or unrepentant sin. It is a call to align daily actions with one's words and with the Gospel. And so, Matthew 7:17-20 is letting us know the distinct difference between a good tree and a corrupt tree, and that God is going after the source, not after those born from deception and disinformation, but those who gave birth to it. The unpardonable sin Jesus spoke of in Matthew 12:31 is when men misappropriate, employ, and insert the works of the Spirit and use the name of Jesus to leverage and to harness evil agendas. Reconstruction is coming.

Be well and stay blessed,
