PASTORAL PARASITES

In this country, there is a growing trend of mega churches and social media pastors who subtly view and use the Bible as a product to make a bag (to generate a profit). Most of these individuals who you see standing in churches and social media pulpits across this nation are not pastors; they are producers, performers, profiteers, predators, political pundits, and pious pastoral parasites that use the body of Christ (the Church) as their host, as their feed. Their existence is to feed on, to extract from the body to plenish their narcissistic egos, consuming from those they attach themselves to, feeding their rapacity; all at the host's expense. These pastoral parasites do not seek to kill the body, as they need the body alive so they can continuously feed on it. But these pastoral parasites cause irreparable harm to the body, leading to spiritual, mental, and emotional fatigue, affecting the host's (believer's) behavior, draining their emotional and mental metabolism, and weakening their spiritual immune system. But God has a remnant of pastors whose desire is to feed sheep, not feed on them; to revive them, not revile them; to rescue them, not refuse them; to save them, not to suck the life out of them; these pastors are commissioned by the Good Shepherd.

Some may ask Ray, 'Why don't you name these pastoral parasites?' One reason is that I'm not here to argue, but to urge. Secondly, they know who they are. And thirdly, and most importantly, God knows who they are.
